Broadband services with no lengthy contract
If you want to test the waters, and don't want to be locked into a 12- or 18-month contract,
try these providers. Generally with a minimum of a single month's contract, you won't get the best
price, but you will have the flexibility to move on if the service doesn't meet expectations.
Things to watch out for
If you think you may exit your contract within 12 months, be sure to check these points:
- Is there a set-up fee, and is it refundable?
- Is the short contract available in your area?
- Do you have to pay for, or return, any hardware?
- Is there a cancellation fee?
